How OBRA will use POTA

OBRA POTA activity should support education, field operating confidence, fellowship, and emergency communications readiness. The goal is not only making contacts; it is learning how equipment behaves outside the shack.

Plan

Select a park, check access, choose bands/modes, plan antenna footprint, and post the activation.

Operate

Use safe field setup, log accurately, spot responsibly, and invite members to hunt or assist.

Report

Submit results, equipment notes, photos, and lessons learned to build local knowledge.

Plan a portable operation.

Post an activation, ask for support, or submit an after-action report.
